Abstract

Psikologi Pendidikan adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang perilaku
manusia di dalam dunia pendidikan yang meliputi studi sistematis
tentang proses-proses dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan
pendidikan manusia yang tujuannya untuk mengembangkan dan
meningkatkan keefisien di dalam pendidikan. Psikologi sebagai ilmu
pengetahuan yang berupaya memahami keadaan dan perilaku manusia
termasuk para siswa yang satu sama lainnya berbeda itu, amat penting
bagi guru di semua jenjang pendidikan. seorang guru melalui
pertimbangan – pertimbangan psikologisnya diharapkan dapat: 1)
Merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran secara tepat. 2) Memilih strategi atau
metode pembelajaran yang sesuai. 3) Memberikan bimbingan atau
bahkan memberikan konseling. 4) Memfasilitasi dan memotivasi belajar
peserta didik. 5) Menciptakan iklim belajar yang kondusif. 6) Menilai
hasil pembelajaran yang adil.
