Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari pelatihan
teknis terbaru terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru otomotif di
SMK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi eksperimen
dengan desain pre-test post-test control group. Sampel penelitian
terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol yang tidak
menerima pelatihan dan kelompok perlakuan yang menerima
pelatihan teknis terbaru dalam bidang otomotif. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan teknis terbaru secara signifikan
meningkatkan kompetensi guru otomotif di SMK. Terdapat
peningkatan yang signifikan pada pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan
pemahaman konsep otomotif pada kelompok perlakuan
dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Selain itu, guru yang
mengikuti pelatihan juga menunjukkan peningkatan dalam
penerapan teknologi dan metode pengajaran terbaru dalam
pembelajaran otomotif di kelas. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi
penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMK melalui
pengembangan kompetensi guru otomotif. Disarankan agar program
pelatihan teknis terbaru terus ditingkatkan dan diperluas ke berbagai
wilayah untuk memastikan bahwa guru otomotif memiliki
pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang mutakhir dalam mengajarkan
materi otomotif kepada siswa.
